Audrey Burgoon
This week’s "Crash the Class" episode was filmed in Kansas City, Kansas where assistant professor, Ambyr Rios and Interim Dean, Dr. Goodson, surprised Audrey Burgoon. Audrey is a theater teacher at Prairie Star Middle school and is finishing up her first year of teaching. Audrey has been making a huge impact on the Blue Valley school district during her first year. Ricky Gutierrez
This week’s "Crash the Class" episode was filmed in Kansas City, Kansas where assistant director of enrollment management and institutional Partnerships, Marcus Kidd, and mentor, Nicole Meritt, surprised Ricky Gutierrez. Ricky is a special education teacher at Turner Elementary school and is in his second year of teaching. Ricky was recently announced a 2024 Horizon award recipient and continues to make a huge impact on his students. Katherine Greenleaf
This "Crash the Class" episode was filmed on Ft Riley Military Base in Junction City, Kansas where Assistant Dean Roger Shieferecke and Teaching Assistant Professor Beth Pesnell surprised Katherine Greenleaf. Katherine is a First Grade teacher at Ft. Riley Elementary School in her first year of teaching. During her first year, Katherine has shown how passionate she is about teaching and her students.
