Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in ESL

Ecuador master's degree students

Students may apply the 15 hours of graduate credit from the ESL courses to a master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction with ESL as their area of specialization. This master’s degree program (Curriculum and Instruction with ESL) is a 31-hour advanced degree program designed to prepare certified teachers in the state of Kansas to work with students who are English language learners. The 15-hours of ESL course work for this degree meet qualifications for a Kansas ESL endorsement. All courses for this master's degree must be completed within 6 years.

The Graduate School must receive an application prior to completing ten hours of graduate work. For further information and to obtain an application, please see the Graduate School website.

If you have further questions please e-mail Sheri Meredith at sherim@k-state.edu.
